Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cornellà del Terri, near Girona, Spain, Zertifier operates at the intersection of Web3, blockchain, IoT, and smart contracts. The company develops secure, verifiable digital infrastructure that bridges the physical and digital worlds, particularly in sectors such as agri-food, sustainability, and energy. Their mission is to empower businesses and producers with tools for traceability, regulatory compliance, and ethical data management.
A flagship initiative, RegenAg-X, which is a Gaia-X-aligned data space co-funded by EIT Food, demonstrates Zertifier’s commitment to inclusive innovation. Designed to give regenerative farmers full control over their data, RegenAg-X enables transparent data sharing, impact verification, and access to fairer markets and incentives.
What does Zertifier do?
At Zertifier, we build trust and transparency across supply chains using a powerful mix of Web3, blockchain, IoT, and smart contracts. What motivated you to join the Ocean Enterprise Collective?
We believe in the power of data collaboration, fair and inclusive. Farmers and producers generate valuable insights every day, yet too often they are excluded from the benefits of the data economy.
Our vision is to change that. Ocean Enterprise provides the foundation we were looking for: a secure, privacy-preserving, and “blockchain-friendly” infrastructure that supports decentralized, cross-sector collaboration.
Joining the Ocean Enterprise Collective is a way for us to be part of something bigger, working alongside others who share our commitment to transparency, ethics, and data ownership.
